Detroit Project

Rhythms of the Motor City: Detroit’s Jazz Legacy, (The Detroit Project) is the culmination of decades of immersion and introspection, showcasing original compositions from legendary Detroit figures intertwined with my own, all presented through a fresh, global lens interpreted by musicians from Cuba, South America, U.S., Africa and Asia. Currently, we are working on a recording project and performing at local festivals.

Barracudas

The Jazz Barracudas is a quartet of musicians in the Boston region who have been playing all kinds of Jazz together for over a decade. Performing regional functions, and benefits for causes we support.

This group runs a bi-monthly Jazz session at the Moldova in Newton, MA. 

CJO

The Contemporary Jazz Orchestra, an 18-piece ensemble, epitomizes the post-bop big band tradition, drawing inspiration from luminaries such as Thad Jones, Charles Mingus, Oliver Nelson, Frank Foster, Gerald Wilson, and Gil Evans. With four CDs available on iTunes, the CJO had a standing performance every Monday night at Jazz at Pearl’s in San Francisco, a tradition that ran for nearly ten years strong. The orchestra has also graced the stage at the Monterey Jazz Festival and numerous other regional concerts. Discover their music on the music page, also available on iTunes.

Wayne Shorter and CBP

The Wayne Shorter Project is an ensemble dedicated to performing the music of the late great legend.

Soul Party

Soul Party is a Funk and Soul group that plays dance music with their own spice. Plays at dance parties and functions in the region. Listen on the music page.
